Vietnamese Society and Culture

Children living in Vietnam will have a unique perspective of a developing, fast growing Asian economy. They soon take for granted the richness and difference of Vietnamese society as it becomes an integral part of their childhood.

We want the students to learn about their host country,  to understand the environment and people and to share with others their perceptions of their “home”.

Through a study of Vietnamese environment, society and culture and in having an understanding of conversational Vietnamese applicable to common situations, we hope the children will have a better appreciation of their world and have skills in communication across people that will be invaluable in their adult lives.
