Gifted and Talented
For children who have identified gifts and talents, special provisions are made. These are implemented by the classroom and specialist teachers. Depending on the needs of the individual child, the following may be implemented:
- in class differentiation of curriculum
- subject or grade acceleration
- curriculum compacting
- extension and enrichment activities
- open-ended tasks
- small group work with other gifted children
- independent or self-directed study tasks
