The Australian International School Saigon - AIS

Scholarship

Scholarships may be offered to certain students who commence at the School from the beginning of any academic year.  The scholarship covers a percentage of tuition fees at the School, and in some cases may include the cost of transport to and from the School.  The scholarship continues for the first three years of a student’s attendance at the School, subject to an annual review.

All scholarships are awarded in accordance with the procedure outlined above.  Scholarship holders are expected to comply with the Enrolment Conditions and Student Handbook, as for any other AIS student.  Any failure to do so will be taken into account during the annual review, and may lead to a reduction or removal of the scholarship in subsequent years.  Parents of a succesful scholarship applicant are expected to participate fully in the life of the School Community.  This may be in the form of membership on the AIS Parents’ and Friends‘ Group (PFG), weekend sport coaching or taking on the role of Parent Representative to your child’s class.

The School reserves the right to alter the number of awards made in any scholarship category or not to award any scholarships.  The School also reserves the right to offer partial scholarships in particular circumstances.  Applicants who do not exactly fit the specified categories may request special consideration of their application.
