Ms Wendy Lindeman
Principal

Ms Lindeman is an educator with considerable experience, knowledge and understanding of international schools and young people. She has worked in schools for over 25 years, and she has held senior management positions in schools in Singapore and Australia for the past 16 years. Ms Lindeman was the Founding Deputy Principal of the Australian International School Singapore in 1992, during her 10 years there the school grew from 32 students to over 1400 students. She was then appointed to Tanglin Trust (the British International School in Singapore) before returning to Sydney as Deputy Headmistress of SCECGS Redlands, one of Sydney’s largest, coeducational, independent schools. She has taught the Australian (NSW), British (IGCSE) and IB curriculums.

Ms Lindeman has a thorough understanding of international education; she was an expatriate teenager herself, living in Asia in the early 1970s. Ms Lindeman has a passion for the region, through both her work in schools, with young people and their families and through her involvement with NGOs in Cambodia and Vietnam.

Ms Lindeman joined AIS in January 2007 when the School was 5 months old. Vietnam is now home for her and her six year old daughter.
