AIS recognizes the vital role that parents play in a student’s learning journey. Contemporary research confirms that family involvement is one of the most powerful influences on young people’s achievements in school. It is a partnership where you as parents, who know your child best and who want the very best for your child, and the teachers, who are committed and dedicated to educating and caring for students, work together to ensure each student is supported, extended, challenged and guided through their schooling.
The potential for learning is enhanced when there is open dialogue between the home and school environment. The school works closely with parents through open and regular communication. Newsletters, email, interviews, parent-teacher meetings, information sessions and reports at the end of each term are examples of our parent communication.
