Andy is a highly experienced educator, having worked in state and private schools in the UK, and internationally in Australia and Malaysia, for over 20 years. He is a teacher of Science, Mathematics and DP Biology and has also been a Head of Science, teacher trainer and an IB examiner. Andy joined AIS in 2016 from the International School of Penang (Uplands) in Malaysia where he also served as the IBDP Coordinator. His passion is management and leadership, encouraging and supporting students and staff to be the best they can be. Outside of work, he enjoys travel and sport, and spending time with his family.

Mida Abdul takes on the role of PYP coordinator at Australian International School from January 2017. Although she is new to this role here at AIS, she is not totally new to AIS. She worked at the school in 2013 to 2014, as a Kindergarten teacher at Thu Thiem Campus. Mida has worked and taught in Indonesia, Thailand and Japan, recently having worked and lived in Nagoya, Japan for 2.5 years. Mida has been working with the IB programme since 2001 and she has been working for the IB, providing workshops and trainings for teachers within Asia Pacific region, since 2005. She is also a school visiting team leader and a consultant, who travels to other IB-PYP schools in the region to lead Verification and Evaluation visits. Mida has a daughter in Year 1, named Loulou, who goes to Thu Thiem campus. She is excited to be back in Saigon and to be working with AIS once again.
Clayton Lehman possesses an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership (Fort Hays State University, U.S.A.), a MEd. in Pedagogy (TESOL) and Learning (Reading) (Eastern New Mexico University, U.S.A.), and a BA in Music Education (University of North Texas, U.S.A.). Clayton is currently in the second half of studies for an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership (Lamar University, U.S.A.).
Clayton has worked in schools in the U.S.A., China, and South Korea. He joined AIS in 2017 from the International School of Koje in South Korea where he was an EAL Specialist Teacher. Clayton has a keenness for helping language learners develop literacy in English. When he is not working or pursuing research, Clayton enjoys playing music.

Laura is a recent resident of Ho Chi Minh City . She joined AIS in January, 2017 and has enjoyed meeting all of the students, teachers, and parents of the AIS community. She has taught a variety of subjects at AIS such as English literature, EAL and humanities. Her interest in student welfare, passion for a strong school community and Masters in Counselling Psychology has led her to current role at AIS. Prior to AIS, Laura taught English and Social Studies in Red Deer, Alberta for five years. With teaching experience ranging from Diploma level courses, Special Needs programming and behavioural support she has learned to individualize education for student success. She has travelled through South East Asia, Australia and became qualified to teach yoga in India. Laura enjoys travelling, concerts, trying new cuisine and is an avid reader.
