When asked about his driving force in encouraging Sadhika to apply for the Nsouli scholarship, Mr. Kapoor spoke passionately about his aspirations for his daughter. "I, like every parent, have dreams of providing my children with the best possible education and a supportive environment to help them grow into responsible citizens of the world," he shared. "In order to prepare my children for an independent life, I was searching for a world-class boarding school in Vietnam. AIS seemed to be the perfect destination, but my financial resources were limited."
Mr. Kapoor's perseverance led him to discover the promising opportunity of the Nsouli scholarship. Believing in his daughter's potential and supported by encouragement from the AIS leadership team, he decided to apply for this opportunity. Today, he is overjoyed that Sadhika has been awarded the scholarship and recommends this program for all deserving students worldwide.
Sadhika, on being awarded the Nsouli scholarship, expressed her gratitude and excitement. "To me, this scholarship is a launching pad towards opportunities that I may not otherwise have," she said. "Being able to receive this recognition is further motivation for me to continue pursuing my ambitions whether that be in academic or leadership activities."
As Sadhika prepares to embark on her journey at AIS, she has high expectations of the school environment, including campus and school life. "I expect all the school facilities to be exceptionally well-designed to provide me with an enriching experience as a student and a kind-hearted community as a boarder," she shared. "I look forward to making fond memories with my fellow classmates and boarders while gaining the sense of independence and kinship that comes from making connections outside of home."
Looking ahead, Sadhika has clear long-term goals and aspirations. "The long-term goal for me is to always work around the subjects that I am most fond of: Psychology, Business, and English," she explained. "I have always dreamt of pursuing a PhD in Psychology and launching my own psychology-related business that advocates for mental health and productivity."
When asked about her university plans following graduation from AIS, Sadhika revealed, "I am considering options in the UK, Canada, and Australia. The schools that most interest me because of their academic rigour and subject-specific excellence in Psychology are Oxbridge Schools, University of Toronto, and University of Queensland."
Sadhika finds inspiration from various figures, including Simon Sinek for his teachings on leadership, Jane Austen for her mastery in storytelling, and Sir Ken Robinson for his advocacy of pursuing one's passions. She also admires Taylor Swift for her musical talents and ability to express profound meanings through her lyrics.
Outside of her studies, Sadhika is deeply passionate about reading books, especially the ones that ask the bigger questions about how society interacts and human behaviour, which is why Sadhika is naturally drawn to Psychology. She also enjoys writing poetry and prose and engaging in public speaking and societal debates through business case competitions, Model United Nations conferences, and delivering TEDx speeches.
In conclusion, Sadhika's journey as a Nsouli scholar at AIS Vietnam is a testament to the power of perseverance, belief in one's potential, and the transformative impact of quality education and supportive environments. Her story serves as an inspiration to students worldwide to pursue their dreams with determination and passion.
