AIS Parents and Friends Group (PFG)

Australian International School (AIS) has an active, energetic, and supportive Parents and Friends Group (PFG). The group aims to build community spirit by strengthening the partnership between parents and the school.

The PFG does this by:

Facilitating family social events, such as play dates
Assisting teachers by coordinating volunteers to help with classroom events and excursions

The PFG is involved in several school events throughout the year, including:

Welcome Back Party
Walk n' Wheels and other charity fundraisers
AIS Christmas Party
Tet and Moon Festivals
Halloween Carnival
International Day

AIS Community Support Team

Additionally, the diverse PFG has a strong focus on supporting those new to the AIS community.

Within the PFG, there are formal roles, including Chair, Treasurer and (for primary school classes) Class Representatives.

All parents of AIS students are automatically members of the group and are always welcome to attend meetings.
