Pamela Joyce Sampan is an early years educator with a degree in Child Development and Education from Miriam College in the Philippines. As a teacher and a full-time mom, she is a firm believer in gentle parenting, and child-led learning through play.
She has been living in Vietnam for 4 years now with her two children, and her husband who also works in the same school as a swimming teacher and coach.
In January-June 2018, she had led the AIS Bright Sparks Playgroup, preparing fun sensory activities for young learners with ages ranging from 6months to 2 years old. After that she became the teacher of AIS Infant Kindergarten, the only class in the school for toddlers. Pam is an advocate for play and firmly believes that this is the best way little children, can learn and develop fully.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Teaching and Learning, University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
Kerin has been teaching in the junior school in New Zealand for 7 years. During this time she was head of Junior Literacy, Librarian and Reading Recovery teacher. Kerin is passionate about children’s literacy; insuring all children are successful, and making their time at school a positive and happy experience. Kerin enjoys doing yoga, crafts and walking her dog who came over from New Zealand with her.
Qualifications: Higher Graduate Diploma of Education (Pre-primary); Graduate diploma in Education (Primary) South Africa, TEFL, Cache Level 4 (UK)
Estelle has been in Early Years Education for 40 years, of which 27 years have been in International Schools (Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana, Indonesia, Dubai, Vietnam). She has extensive experience in both teaching and administration. She is passionate about providing children with a safe, caring and stimulating environment where they can develop the needed skills to prepare them for a future of learning and at the same time become well-balanced global citizens. Outside of school, Estelle enjoys reading, painting, spending time in nature, travelling to new destinations, and learning from different cultures.
Her educational motto is ‘Reflect and learn from the lessons of yesterday to inform the learning of today to create the leaders of tomorrow’

Appointed as assistant coach for Saigon Heat Professional Team played in Asian Basketball League. After 3 years working at Saigon Heat, Cuong moved to AIS and has been working here since 2014 as Kindergarten PE Teacher.
He also in charge of AIS Basketball in year levels as a head coach. He'd love to grow basketball program for school to help students gain confidence and have good understanding about the game and their health.
